World Bank Predicts Sharpest Decline of Remittances in Recent History

Remittances to sub-Saharan African economies could fall by as much as 23.1% this year according to new World Bank estimates, due to the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. Total flows could drop from $48bn in 2019 to $37bn.
