Kenya has a President – Ballot 2017.

The Bomas of Kenya Tallying Hall erupted into song and dance after Wafula Chebukati the IEBC Chair declared Uhuru Kenyatta the winner of the Presidential battle following a rigorous Ballot2017 that has seen more action away from the ballot boxes than any other in history (writes topi lyambila)

In what may well go down as the most emotive speech of his presidency Kenyatta reached out to the opposition to come on board and work with his Government and called on all Kenyans regardless of their voter affiliation to remember that Kenya is bigger than all of us and that they should reach out to their neighbor shake their hand and tell them we are one Kenya.  “All Kenyans are Winners ..We are all winners”

Many observers believe that Uhuru Kenyatta’s second term could be different from his first term and that he will shade his tribal leanings and instead embrace Kenyans as one.
The NASA team was not at hand for a comment but word has it they’re bracing for a court battle, as incidents suggest they were targeted by Government. As late as today two Police Officers sneaked into their tallying centre in Runda posing as journalists, but were smoked out and detained for a while before they were rescued by a crew from the rated Flying Squad special police unit. This and other incidents noted during the campaign period and the vote counting are said to be some of the critical points that could feature prominently should there be a court battle to question Uhuru’s victory.
